Me and Juan had the experience to try on the new ETS Gold train by KTM. Price at RM59 per trip, we had the most comfortable travelling system. Our train was at 7am and it departed 7am on the dot.
We used to drive or fly to KL. But with the new ETS system, I find it more convenient and cost effective. If we were to drive to KL, the cost of petrol is equivalent to the ETS ticket. The drive did not include the toll fee that we have to pay along the highway.
The ETS train is so efficient, clean, ample of leg space and air-conditioned. Don't forget to bring your jacket along. The one thing about ETS that needs to be improved is the toilet. The queue to the toilet is quite long because of the limited lavatory. Adding more toilet will be very helpful.
ETS stops at most major cities. Therefore it is easy to travel from one city to another. Each stop is less that 5 minutes. It stop to drop or pick up passengers. You can purchase the tickets on-line because they are selling like hot cakes or you can walk in to the counter. You can purchase the tickets here. The ETS train is divided into 2 ; ETS Gold and ETS Silver. You need to register your ID and password before you can start purchasing the tickets.
I recommend you to give the ETS a try and I bet you won't regret it. Although the haze was pretty bad when we were in KL, but I managed to get all the things needed done BUT with the mask on. Even the malls were covered by the haze.
