I have short sighted problem and I wear contact lense for more than 12 hours a day and I have sensitive eyes. So a contact lense friendly mascara is very important to make sure that I still feel comfortable even with makeup on. There are times where I feel like wearing makeup. I have short and straight eye lashes.
I used Silky Girl mascara in brown previously. I wasn't that keen on using any black mascara as I'm afraid that it will smudge. But my eyes turned red and slightly watery after using the old mascara. So I stopped using it and toss it away since no one wants it. My sister rarely wear makeup and that is why she has flawless skin compared to mine.
I find high and low on the perfect mascara and this time I'm ready to get a black one. Walked into Sephora, Paragon to take a look on what brand do they have there compared to those in Bukit Bintang. It wasn't my plan to get the mascara at that point. But the price of mascara which cost about RM26 literally caught my attention.
Brought to you by Sephora, I introduce to you NYX Le Chick Flick. When I saw first saw this, I wasn't that convince that it will not bring irritation to my eyes like how the previous mascara did. But since it's only RM26, I thought, why not give it a try. Surprisingly, it doesn't irritate my eyes at all and given that it's waterproof, I don't have to worry on the mascara being smudge. But I would advise you girls to use waterproof makeup remover before washing your face and double cleansing. Trust me it will not go off if you're washing your face with just a cleanser.
