I've been head over heels on Korean skin care for the past few weeks. There are thousands of choices over the Internet. Best of all, you can order most of them online. Senang betul. 

I've been using skin care since young and has never stick to one brand. That include shampoo, lotions and other skincare products I have at home. Thank God that I do not have sensitive skin so I can slap on any brand. Name it. Gurdian and Watson are like my 2nd home. I can go cray-cray over there.

My recent haul was this Innisfree primer. I've been searching high and low for a decent primer for quite some time and not sure which is best. All I know is, Korean beauty care are made from natural ingredients. I've been using the online portal for almost everything as long as I can remember. I just love the convenience at the tip of my fingers. I don't have to drive and not stuck in jam too. I can just browse the internet at home, at the comfort of my own. 

I use the online shopping pages for clothes, accessories, makeups, home appliances, gifts. Except for groceries which I believe in purchasing them at the supermarket. 

I read a lot of artticles on internet scam and I've been very careful when I go online. Having a husband who works in an IT company, my laptop is always protected with the best antivirus software. However....no matter how careful we are, we cannot avoid from making mistakes. Mine was trusting something/anyone very easily.

The number of followers does not determine whether or not the account is legit. That's what I was looking first, which is wrong.

Notice the latest post on their account. If their last post is 23 weeks ago (like my case), then most likely it is a scam account. I only noticed it AFTER I paid for my order.

Take the time to actually check some of the comments on that particular Instagram or Facebook. Don't be lazy.

Do some research or background check on the account before sealing any deal

How long does it take for them to reply your inquiry? A good business will reply your inquiries promtly regardless you're only asking for quotations

I purchase most of my wardrobe online. Typically the same brand. With the petite body size I have, I can hardly just walk into the store and purchase whatever style I want. It doesn't work that way gal.

I purchase different brand on a trial and error basis. If the brand that I purchased does not fit me upon arrival of the parcel, I had to either give it away to somebody else or keep it God-knows-for-what.

I recommend you to give the ETS a try and I bet you won't regret it. Although the haze was pretty bad when we were in KL, but I managed to get all the things needed done BUT with the mask on. Even the malls were covered by the haze.

Overall we had a great time rewinding the week. Putting work aside and just the 2 of us. Like how it used to be when I was a kid. Walking along the beach with the waves hitting hard. Looking at children swimming and having fun. Not having to worry about anything.

I had some moment to think that I've been trying to please people, my whole life. I guess it's time to stop and think about myself. 

My dad used to tell me that don't expect anything in return when you do nice things for people, because you will end up hurt. People might not be able to step up to your expectation. Since then I stopped. I diverted my attention to people who matter the most in my life. People who has been supporting me for the past years.

It was 7.45 am and I was getting myself ready while listening to the radio.

"What has changed when it comes to family dinner?"

There was one particular caller. A man. He said that he rarely have time for family dinner and because he stays separately, it gets even harder for him to stop by his parent's place.

"I normally have dinner and skype with my parents at the same time. As if I was there but virtually"

I stopped and thought. What has happened? We have come to a point where we're so distracted by others that we forget what's more important in life. 

Our parents were once working adult but they made time for us no matter how busy they were. The Generation X emphasize a lot about family ties and I believe that many of us here were brought up from a close knitted family including myself. 

When I was young, I used to have my dinner in front of the TV and my parents? They sat at the dinner table. My sister does that too. Used to. My dad has always asked us to sit together because dinner time is the only time when everyone is at home. Being a teenager I was at that time, I ignored. 

As I moved out of my parent's house to continue my education, I started missing having the family around. When I was away, either I'll pack my food home or dinner with friends. The feeling gets stronger during Ramadhan. When your friends from the city you lived in has their own family to break fast with. It was definitely a lonely moment.

It's heart breaking to see the generation today. Generation of material people. I've had a few friends who thinks that they do not have the time to see their parents even during weekends. I'm trying to understand on where their time spent. But I do bumped some of them in malls. Ironically they said they didn't have the time but ...you know.

It's easy for us to forget things and it's easy to think that parents are okay when we don't come home for dinner. The hardship that we had to go through in today's modern world cannot be compared to what our parents had to go through in the old days. They had to start from scratch. So sitting down with them for a nice meal is the least we can do. Because at the end of the day, when you lose your job and when you lose your friends, the first thing you'll do is turning to your parents support. 

Family is Forever.
