Ever since I learnt about Sephora, it has been a drug for me. I've been doing my makeup shopping at Sephora. They have a wide range of brand and products for you to choose from.
I have smudged eye liner at the end of the day. I applied freshly in the evening (normally for occasions), then by evening, they're all over my eyes. Ending up, I looked like a panda. So a close friend of mine suggested that I should get the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Because I noticed that her eye liner and eye shadow doesn't smudge and she's been using them for quite some time now. They have a few range of eye shadow primer. URBAN DECAY
Eyeshadow Primer Potion Tube - Original, Anti-aging, Shimmer and highlighter. I chose the original one.
I love how they have these guidelines on which palette goes to which part of your eye.

I have been looking many websites on DIY props for wedding deco as well as for my home decorations. Some of them can be sooo inspiring. DIY projects do take up your time but it saves you the $$$.
You can browse this website by A Beautiful Mess. They have loads of ideas from DIY office table to DIY sewing project.
I won't be having candy bar because I don't consume sugary food so I do not want the kids attending my wedding consume them too. Plus it will be a waste because my wedding will consist of adults and senior citizens. I believe they're not into this candy bar thing. Plus, I don't want the candy bar to attract the guests attention from the purpose itself which is......me

Even my Save the Date photos were taken by my sister-in-law in Bukit Tinggi which I have blogged here. Some places charges you around RM5 if you are taking wedding photos but not this one. RM12 for adult as the entrance fee. I suggest that you go early morning because the weather is not as cold as in Cameron nor Genting in the afternoon. The outcome was simply beautiful. It was also because of the natural scenery. I was provided with RAW phots, edited them here and there and added my own wording. Juan said 'Letting my inner Picasso out'.
I collect glass bottles. Once the plastic bag is full, I would sell them at a recycle center. A whole of a plastic bag. I thought since my wedding is around the corner, it would be nice if I spent my time and energy into doing something special with these glasses. I'm planning to paint them in pastel colors and use them as my wedding deco. It will be look sweet and heavenly. Wasn't sure whether to use them as deco for my photo booth or deco for my registry table.
I collect tin cans too. The same, I used to bring them to the recycle center and sell them for a few bucks. You know, the extra cash. It's not much but it's something. After browsing a few creative website, I'd thought I'll turn the cans into DIY candle lantern. Carves with names beside the cans. It would look so cute and romantic.

Believe it or not, it was Juan's first time ever flying. It was funny to see him getting excited and having butterflies in his stomach. It wasn't that obvious. It's more obvious on his inner feeling. He don't show it cause he thinks it's not cool for a guy. It's a sissy thing to do.
Well, our flight was scheduled on the 18th April, 7.25pm. We traveled by FireFly. I never like flying in Fokker. They're just too 'shaky'. The feeling of taking off and landing in a Fokker is just awful.
I finished my work around 5.30, headed to his house where his dad was supposed to send us to the airport. It was early for us, so we had McDonalds.
While at the airport, we talked about my experience on flying. How every cabin of different airplane is different, we chatted about business class and first class, about A380, China Airlines, what's the worst airline ever, which airline has the hottest air stewardess (I'm not lesbian), which airline has the best food and all.
When it was time for boarding, we took out our identification card and boarding pass. We walked towards our departure gate just to find out that our flight was delayed 15 minutes. Juan was playing with his phone while I was reading The Kite Runner.
Me: You feel excited or not?
Juan: Ya(smilling). Feels like got butterfly in my stomach.
Me: (Lol) I don't believe that you have never taken an airplane before. Why ar?
Juan: I love driving
Me: Oh.
I'm happy that our seats were by the window. Since it was the first time for Juan, I'd thought it would be nice to let him seated by the window since he's an avid nature lover. I thought he'll be like 'Waahh', 'Aaahhh' or 'Oohhh'. But it wasn't that way.
Juan was in his bermuda shorts, t-shirt and slipper. We didn't have any luggage to check in so we (he) hand-carried all the bags. We had 3 of them. Furthermore it was only for a 2 nights trip.
Me: You know you look like what or not, carrying this bag with your shorts and slipper?
Juan: Like what?
Me: Like a China man who's never been on a plane or someone who's going to the market.
Juan: Really meh?
Me: Ya. Fashion disaster
This was taken at about 6am on Sunday. Our flight was scheduled at 8.15am by Air Asia. Reason being, the next flight to Penang was about 10ish pm. I didn't want to reach home that late. We took KLIA Express from Sentral station, transit at Salak Tinggi and took a bus to LCCT. On another note, it was Juan's first ride on KLIA Express as well and my first on the bus to LCCT. He didn't show any form of excitement. I guess for him, it's just another ordinary train ride like the LRT or KTM Commuter.
It's different for me because every time I travel on the KLIA Express, I develop this special feeling. Exciting, happy, regardless of how many times I have traveled in it. I love the smooth ride, the cold, the seats, the people. What I love most is sometimes you get to see pilots or stewardess traveling to KLIA for the first shift (Again, I'm no lesbian). They're just hot!
Upon reaching Penang International Airport, we walked down towards the arrival hall. We passed by the baggage claim belt. I was walking behind Juan. We should turn left, instead I was the only one doing it, while Juan walked straight and confidently towards the baggage claim. I stood there a few seconds thinking 'Do we have any luggage to claim?'. Then realized we didn't have any. I don't know why I called him out. I should have stand there and watch how far he'll go only to realized that he has gone the wrong way. It's going to be an epic.. Hahahahahaha
Me: Yang, where are you going?
Juan: Oohh, damn. I thought it was there.
Me: You so confident huh. (Lol). I don't know why I go and call you. Should just see until where you want to walk.
Juan: (Laughed) Ah, bloody hell.
I never knew that I had so much dark spots and freckles on my face until the day I went for my first proper facial a few weeks ago for this year. I suspect that those dark spots occur due to previous times when I was always under the sun for sports training.
I never gave the attention to my face except for the basic daily regime of cleanse, tone and moisturize. But ever since I have an upcoming wedding, I started to wear mask twice a week, go for facial and bought myself a serum.
I've started to use Olay White Radiance about 2 weeks. The non greasy formula easily glides on the skin of my face. It doesn't leave that sticky feeling. I wear it before applying my moisturizer on a daily basis. Day and night.
White Radiance has high concentration of CelLucent™ whitening active, Vitamin B3, Natural Plant Whitening Extract and dual color vitamin beads. Tackles both surface and hidden whitening issues like spots, darkness, and uneven skin tone.
After 2 weeks of usage, I can see that my skin becomes slightly brighter but for the dark spots, uneven skin tone and freckles, it will take some time.

If you're just like me, scratching your head when you come upon a beauty counter, then we're on the same boat. It happens to me quite a lot. I'm in the middle of experimenting beauty product. Mascara, eye liner, bold color lipsticks.
Below is a very basic breakdown of each product, and what they do. Brand-specific descriptions will be able to give you the specifics for each cream. You can even Google them up
