Believe it or not, it was Juan's first time ever flying. It was funny to see him getting excited and having butterflies in his stomach. It wasn't that obvious. It's more obvious on his inner feeling. He don't show it cause he thinks it's not cool for a guy. It's a sissy thing to do.
Well, our flight was scheduled on the 18th April, 7.25pm. We traveled by FireFly. I never like flying in Fokker. They're just too 'shaky'. The feeling of taking off and landing in a Fokker is just awful.
I finished my work around 5.30, headed to his house where his dad was supposed to send us to the airport. It was early for us, so we had McDonalds.
While at the airport, we talked about my experience on flying. How every cabin of different airplane is different, we chatted about business class and first class, about A380, China Airlines, what's the worst airline ever, which airline has the hottest air stewardess (I'm not lesbian), which airline has the best food and all.
When it was time for boarding, we took out our identification card and boarding pass. We walked towards our departure gate just to find out that our flight was delayed 15 minutes. Juan was playing with his phone while I was reading The Kite Runner.
Me: You feel excited or not?
Juan: Ya(smilling). Feels like got butterfly in my stomach.
Me: (Lol) I don't believe that you have never taken an airplane before. Why ar?
Juan: I love driving
Me: Oh.
I'm happy that our seats were by the window. Since it was the first time for Juan, I'd thought it would be nice to let him seated by the window since he's an avid nature lover. I thought he'll be like 'Waahh', 'Aaahhh' or 'Oohhh'. But it wasn't that way.
Juan was in his bermuda shorts, t-shirt and slipper. We didn't have any luggage to check in so we (he) hand-carried all the bags. We had 3 of them. Furthermore it was only for a 2 nights trip.
Me: You know you look like what or not, carrying this bag with your shorts and slipper?
Juan: Like what?
Me: Like a China man who's never been on a plane or someone who's going to the market.
Juan: Really meh?
Me: Ya. Fashion disaster
This was taken at about 6am on Sunday. Our flight was scheduled at 8.15am by Air Asia. Reason being, the next flight to Penang was about 10ish pm. I didn't want to reach home that late. We took KLIA Express from Sentral station, transit at Salak Tinggi and took a bus to LCCT. On another note, it was Juan's first ride on KLIA Express as well and my first on the bus to LCCT. He didn't show any form of excitement. I guess for him, it's just another ordinary train ride like the LRT or KTM Commuter.
It's different for me because every time I travel on the KLIA Express, I develop this special feeling. Exciting, happy, regardless of how many times I have traveled in it. I love the smooth ride, the cold, the seats, the people. What I love most is sometimes you get to see pilots or stewardess traveling to KLIA for the first shift (Again, I'm no lesbian). They're just hot!
Upon reaching Penang International Airport, we walked down towards the arrival hall. We passed by the baggage claim belt. I was walking behind Juan. We should turn left, instead I was the only one doing it, while Juan walked straight and confidently towards the baggage claim. I stood there a few seconds thinking 'Do we have any luggage to claim?'. Then realized we didn't have any. I don't know why I called him out. I should have stand there and watch how far he'll go only to realized that he has gone the wrong way. It's going to be an epic.. Hahahahahaha
Me: Yang, where are you going?
Juan: Oohh, damn. I thought it was there.
Me: You so confident huh. (Lol). I don't know why I go and call you. Should just see until where you want to walk.
Juan: (Laughed) Ah, bloody hell.
I never knew that I had so much dark spots and freckles on my face until the day I went for my first proper facial a few weeks ago for this year. I suspect that those dark spots occur due to previous times when I was always under the sun for sports training.
I never gave the attention to my face except for the basic daily regime of cleanse, tone and moisturize. But ever since I have an upcoming wedding, I started to wear mask twice a week, go for facial and bought myself a serum.
I've started to use Olay White Radiance about 2 weeks. The non greasy formula easily glides on the skin of my face. It doesn't leave that sticky feeling. I wear it before applying my moisturizer on a daily basis. Day and night.
White Radiance has high concentration of CelLucent™ whitening active, Vitamin B3, Natural Plant Whitening Extract and dual color vitamin beads. Tackles both surface and hidden whitening issues like spots, darkness, and uneven skin tone.
After 2 weeks of usage, I can see that my skin becomes slightly brighter but for the dark spots, uneven skin tone and freckles, it will take some time.

If you're just like me, scratching your head when you come upon a beauty counter, then we're on the same boat. It happens to me quite a lot. I'm in the middle of experimenting beauty product. Mascara, eye liner, bold color lipsticks.
Below is a very basic breakdown of each product, and what they do. Brand-specific descriptions will be able to give you the specifics for each cream. You can even Google them up
Anxiety and worry that my nude bra might fall off in the middle of the photo shoot, rain, sleepy. Everythingggg but it went so well..Alhamdulillah except it rained for a while during the outdoor shoot, but it stopped half way.
I was hoping to take an outdoor shoot with sunset as the background. I was disappointed at first because the cloud blocked the sun due to the rain but it came out again and we managed to get a good shot, and I'm happy with it.
My scene should have started at 3 but I reached early and I'm glad I did that because when we reached around 1pm, the makeup and hairdo took about 2 hours. So eventually we started around 3 plus. Amendment has to be made to all of my dresses because my size was too small. So while the lady made some changes to my dresses, I sat down to do my makeup. I was happy with the outcome.
Tips: During your photo shoot, bring 1 extra high heel for the lady and 1 formal black shoe for the man. Try finding one beige in color, preferably with lace. Lace goes well with any dresses. No black heels please ladies, if possible.
For an outdoor shoot, get yourself a different heels that you won't be wearing for your actual day. Most of the shots will not be able to see your heels Like me, because I was too 'smart'. It was hard to find a last minute heels because I have difficulties in finding my size which is size 3 for adult=size 2 kids. But because I have a short train on my actual day, I guess it would do the cover up on the scratches at the tip of my heels.
As for the ampoule, in my opinion, they're not necessary. I've blogged about it here. What's more important, roughly 1 month prior to your wedding photo shoot, pratise a good routine like eat more fruits and vege, drink less caffeinated or carbonated beverages, get enough rest, don't meddle with your pimples, go for facial 2 weeks before and EXERCISE!! You'll soooo gonna need them on the day of the shoot. It felt like you have ran a 3km marathon the day before.
Wear a button up t-shirt during your session. Because once you are done with your hairdo and makeup, it will be a hassle to pull off your clothes from the top like you usually do at home.
For the boys, buy yourself 1 plain and cheap t-shirt , to be worn under your coat during the shoot. If you have a white long sleeve shirt, bring that too. Because, if the length of the sleeves of the coat doesn't fit you (those with long arms), the long sleeve shirt will help you.
Finalize on the studio venue, time, date, final choice of dresses and coat 1 month before the shoot and again 2 weeks before. This is just to be sure that the client and planner are on the same page.
My sister is not the emotional type. She won't cry over sad movies. Unlike me, I'm the 2nd biggest drama queen, my mum holds the 1st.
Dianah fake her date of departure to India, which supposedly on the 7th of April, instead she told her friends that she's leaving on the 10th to the point that even my mum told everyone that it was the 10th (she got psychological influenced). Reason being, she didn't want to be a cry baby in front of her friends. Egoistic I can say.
A week before her departure, we were in Melaka for her orientation. On the way back to Penang, we stopped by Shah Alam to pick up some stuff from Dianah's previous rented house. While waiting for her at the mamak stall downstairs, the parents and me planned a surprise for her. Thanks to my dad. He suggested that I should give Puteri a call (Dianah's AFS good friend). So I did. The plan went smoothly where Puteri would gather some of Dianah's AFS friends to celebrate her departure. The meeting was to held in KLCC park. The parents and I should get an award for this act. It was tough!!! My mouth wanting to tell Dianah the surprise.
If you hear someone shouting, that's me. I don't know why I shouted when it was not my farewell surprise at the first place -__-'
I regretted later on.
Ampoules are typically small, glass containers that are filled with a concentration of highly active ingredients. Ampoules usually contain botanical extracts, vitamins, and enzymes in various combinations and do not have any preservatives or chemicals due to the airtight packaging.
There are ampoules designed to address every skin type and deficiency. Ampoules can have remarkable effects on various skin conditions, irritations, hyper-pigmentation, as well as, aging. Visible results are achieved within a short time after application. Combining ampoules and masks together in a treatment enhances the results.
Types of Ampoules
There are several types of ampoules:
Gel - Botanical extractives in a light gel formula, which allows for easier absorption into the skin. Best suited for the facial tissues and reach maximum effectiveness when applied with steam and can also be used in conjunction with a mask.
Oil - A thicker ampoule in an oil formula which may either be massaged in with or without steam and does not need to be rinsed off. This type is more like a serum that can be followed with a moisturizer or worn simply as a moisturizer.
How to Use an Ampoule:
After cleansing, the ampoule should be applied to the skin with gentle massage with steam. This may done with a facial steam machine or steam towel (a moist hot compress; apply a steam towel to the face for a few minutes prior to using the ampoule and another after application). While the ampoule is still moist on the skin, you can apply a mask and complete a facial treatment. Or you may leave on the skin to be washed off after 10 - 15 minutes. Follow with the use of a moisturizer.
You can purchase these ampoules from the bridal shop or online. I bought mine through Groupon. RM59 for 10 bottles.
Suggestions? I believe ampoules are not necessary for your skin. For as long as you take good care of it, like eating more fruits and vege, drinks lots of fluid (take less 1 day before your wedding shoot cause you don't want to look bloated), practice a good facial regime, apply mask at least twice a week, you are all good for the shoot. It will be a waste if you can't finish the whole of 10 bottles that comes in a package.
