The clock shows 2.08am. While many of you are sleeping soundly, here I am typing on my little laptop. I had a fun girl's day out with my former MBA classmates. We were out since 11am and got back around 12.45am. The session today were a lot more of talking and eating. Our outing of 12 hours were spent on talking, pouring hearts out and complains. It was therapeutic. Will blog about it in the next post.
Went back again to my home town last week. But this time, I had to drag Juan along for a fitting session. But unfortunately when we got back to Perlis, my wedding planner said that it's too early to take Juan's measurement as the fabric that she ordered has not arrived yet. But the songket dress which were customized for my wedding were almost 3/4 done. It was perfect!
Went to Putra Palace on check on the wedding deco with the hotel event manager.
While Juan was in Perlis, I showed him the place that I used to play at with my childhood friends and the place that I normally jog back in the old days.
I never took any photos of my back alleys ever since I stayed there when I was young. Things has changed over the years. The people got older and the people my age were no longer around. Most of them migrated to other states as career prospect are much better there.
Since Juan was in town. I decided to bring to the famous seafood restaurant in Perlis. The place were full with customers but we managed to get a seats for the 5 of us. We ordered 4 dishes including their famous Siam steam fish. It was just nice to accommodate the 5 of us.
It is not the fancy seafood restaurant that you can see in the big cities. It's just a small run-down shop operated by a family for more than 30 years. The shop smells old but I like. Even the shop looked old as well.
Hai Thien Seafood Restaurant.
