Homestay in Ayer Keroh, Melaka

We canceled our Raya trip to Singapore as Dianah decided not to come back because of her final exam, 2 weeks after Aidilfitri. She wanted to spend her time on revision. So instead of flying back to Singapore, we drove down to Melaka.

This was a last minute booking but Alhamdulillah we managed to secure a spacious and strategic located homestay. We didn't stay in the middle of Melaka but instead we booked a place that is slightly off from the city but not too far still.

Mummy, as usual, brought frozen rendang, ayam merah and ketupat palas that she has prepared a week before. So we just had to steam them before eat.

We spent 4 days in Melaka but didn't really go anywhere because Dianah invited her close friends over and we didn't want to be in the crowd too. Melaka can be very jam on weekends, needless to say it's the festive season so it's gonna be even worst, based on our past experience. So this trip was kind of chill chill. Tak kelam kabut nak pergi semua tempat.

The homestay that we booked was soooooooo spacious that it can actually fit more than 5 people. They had a fully equipped kitchen and cooking ware although most of them are quite old. You can bring your own if you don't find it leceh. All rooms had air conditioner except for the 3rd room. Baby cot is also provided in the master bed room but bring your own baby bed, I suggest. This home has 4 rooms but 1 of them was converted into a store room by the house owner. The house was clean when we arrived it's just that there are roaches around the house. Check in was quite easy. Price was reasonable too. For booking, visit : Ar-Rayyan SemiD homes
