I never really have many friends in school. I was too contained in my own that I don't really bother to know what happens in the other classroom or who is the new kid in school. Not until I was in upper secondary school. I started to grow my circle of friends.

Compares to my other close friends, I was the only one who is rajin enough to visit other classes and lepak. Most of my friends I have until today were friends who were in the same class as me since Secondary One until the end of the school years. Although it has been 15 years passed, we still keep in contact with each other and we even have our own Whatsapp group. We meet normally during festive season like Hari Raya. Because every is not in the same state, so meeting up is quite impossible.  

It was really fun to see that everyone is happily married and some with kids. We'll be talking about what we did in school, catching up about work and motherhood. We've witnessed how we have grown, how we have changed.

I'm always excited to see them cause I know we have so many things in common and that we got through shit in school together. So we basically know each other, in and out. I can say that we were the best of friends. Many friends I knew come and go in life but these people, were there throughout my journey and I'm looking forward to that even when I have my own grand kids.
