Johor trip : Part 1

It was an event for family and friends. We spent 7 hours on the road just to attend this wedding. Actual fact, I'm looking forward to this. Another cousin got hitched. It felt like were only kids yesterday and now one by one is settling down.

It has been many years since I last step foot in Johor. Things have changed so much as far as I remember. A short trip up south which I very much needed just to get away. Although it was a tiring journey, but I had so much fun meeting other extended family members.

My mum had 12 siblings some those who came were not even half and the whole place were packed with them. Imagined if 12 of them and their family were there. I believe we had to camp in front of the house. But it was good to see everyone there. Some whom I've last met during my wedding.

I packed everything I needed in my bag and the only thing I had to forget was my heels. I only realizes it when we were at Ayer Keroh's R&R. I was like 'This chic's gonna rock in slipper'. It was my first time visiting my aunty's place and this mama felt lega that she didn't brought along her heels. It was all work, work, and work. No time to strut my heels in public. I brought the whole almwari for that 2 nights trip. You know me, I don't pack light only if it's backpacking trip. Obviously this is not.

Oh I had a try on crutches for the first time. My uncle met with an accident and had to rely on wheelchair and crutches. On the day of the wedding, I decided to see how will I look like on crutches. Stylish I tell you....
