#roadtrip

This trip was planned many weeks ago. I thought I'd give a little getaway surprise for Juan as he never had one before in his life. I like surprises, in a good way. So I assumed everyone like surprises.
Booked a place at Melur and Tyhme for a nice dinner as I thought finding a halal crispy duck wasn't an easy task. But to my disappointment, the food wasn't near to my expectation at all. The duck meat was cold (not sure if it was meant to be eaten cold). Complimented with roti kirai or roti jala and some fresh veges. The duck meat were salty and doesn't have the aroma or taste of mix herbs or spices marinated in it. It felt like I was eating Korean. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
That afternoon, we spent some time kidding around Aquaria (I was the one excited for this visit). I bought tickets from Groupon for RM28 each. Didn't know that I had to print the second ticket, end up I had to purchase a normal price ticket for Juan.
Visiting Aquaria totally reminded me of Underwater World Singapore. But the visit lasted less than 1 hour. Well, at least I have visited once in my lifetime. I was amazed with the sharks but it was not the great white shark but big enough to swallow me. I missed the shark, otter and piranha feeding time which I was looking forward to. But we managed to catch the Malaysian Flooded Forest session.
