Remember when I receive my Fashion Culture box. What's in the box was also a full tube black mascara. I have started using it last week. It claims to provide volume to your lashes.

Yes, the color is truly black which I like, natural to your lashes. But I don't see the volume. I prefer my NYX Le Chick Flick mascara. The Essence mascara only helps thicken my lashes but even after you remove it with makeup remover, it leaves a layer of black residue on your eyelashes. You can see it on your fingers when pulling them.

The only thing attracts me to the Essence mascara is the fact that it is contact lense friendly and it doesn't smudge at the end of the day.
