Dear Lin,
First and foremost, I'm sorry that I had to steal this photo from your Facebook page. I don't really have a proper photo of you in my safe keeping. Now, you must be wondering why on earth is your story ending up in my blog. Well, it wasn't a plan one, honestly.
Secondly, I'm sorry that I'm not able to attend your special day as I have another commitment to attend to. But to tell you the truth I'm very happy to see that you found a person who can take care of you as good as your mum used to *tears*.
Why I wanted to blog about you? Well, my mum called me this morning, telling that she stopped by your house. That she could not attend you reception as she has other invitations as well. From what I hear from her, I believe that you are still the old querky Fazlin that I used to know. I could not believe that the both of us are turning 30 this year. How time flies. When I still remember the music class that we used to attend when we were in kindergarden with Mrs Foo. Ahhh, those memories.
When my mum visited you this morning, she had the chance to actually explore some of the photos hung on the wall (I think so) while she was walking to your room. She saw your mum's picture and the memories that my mum and her used to shared struck her. I was overwhelm to tell you the truth *tears*.
I'm very happy for you, Fazlin that you have found the love of your life. Someone who you can trust to spend the rest of your life with, share everything together, explore the world together. I'm very sure that your mum will be as happy as I am because her youngest daughter is getting married at last. So does your father, sisters and brother. If your mum is still around, you'll be able to see her happy tears during your nikah. But she's in a better place. Al-Fatihah.
This is such a wonderful milestone for you both!! All the best for you both on this special day and I hope that your future is a long and happy one. May both of you be blessed with the cutest babies ever. Lots of love.
